Wolcott Summer Studies Program 2025
- Who: Students entering Kindergarten through 9th grade! High School volunteers too!
- What: An enriching, and fun program aimed at preparing students for the grade level ahead!
- When: June 30 - August 1, 8:00 am - 12:15 pm - No School on July 4th.
- Where: Tyrrell Middle School, 500 Todd Road, Wolcott
- Cost: $150 per child for Wolcott residents
We have the capacity to give 60 students at each grade level a head start on next year! Students will be placed into groups of approximately 20 students and rotate to three classrooms with teachers focusing on Reading/Writing, Math, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Music) as well as an Enrichment Period.
The Enrichment Period - students will have the opportunity to choose from various interests that their teachers will be instructing for their grade level. Elective Period choices will be made available weekly to the students (i.e. crafting, book clubs, physical education sports, music, dancing, creative videos, Legos, etc.)
Example Schedule:
8:00-9:00 am Period 1 - Reading/Writing
9:00-10:00 am - STEAM
10:00-11:00 am - Math
11:00-12:00 pm - Elective choice
Open registration will begin May 1, 2025. The information will be posted on the Wolcott Summer Studies Program section of the Wolcott Public School website. Registration deadline is June 1, 2025
