New Student Registration Information
Request for Registration
This form is required to pre-register your child/children for enrollment in Wolcott Public Schools. If you are registering more than one child, please complete a separate form for EACH child. Please complete the form accurately. If you have any questions about this form, please contact the Superintendent's Office at 203.879.8183. Once you complete the pre-registration form, the designated enrolling school(s) will contact you to continue the registration process.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to attend Wolcott Public Schools, by Connecticut State law, students MUST reside in Wolcott. Wolcott Public Schools is NOT a school choice school; students attend one of the elementary schools based on their location in Wolcott and enrollment numbers at that school. Registration for Wolcott Public Schools is NOT COMPLETE UNTIL PROOF of RESIDENCY and ALL RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED AND/OR APPROVED BY THE THE SUPERINTENDENT’S OFFICE AND/OR THE ENROLLING SCHOOL. In addition, Middle School and High School registration takes more time before students can officially attend (this includes medical & vaccine requirements per the State).
Residency Requirements
Withdrawing/Moving from Wolcott:
If you plan on moving out of Wolcott or if you will continue to reside in Wolcott but your child will not be attending Wolcott Public Schools, (i.e. attending a private/parochial school), please print and complete the withdrawal form provided below, scan it, and send it as an attachment via email to your current school secretary for processing.
