Dear Families,
We want to provide you with an important update regarding our school calendar to help you plan for the upcoming months and summer break.
Last night, the Board of Education voted to reduce the total number of student days for this school year from 181 to 180.
To date, we have experienced eight (8) school cancellations due to inclement weather. Per our school calendar:
- The first ten (10) cancellations are made up by adding days to the end of the school year.
- Should we exceed ten (10) cancellations, additional days will be reclaimed from the April spring break, starting with Friday, April 10, 2026.
Barring any additional weather-related closures, the schedule for the remainder of the year is as follows: Last Day for Students: Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Both Monday, June 22, and Tuesday, June 23, will be half-days.
High school leadership is currently finalizing the graduation date. We understand that families are eager to coordinate celebrations and travel; we expect to announce the official date in the near future.
We appreciate your flexibility and patience as we navigate this year's winter weather. Our goal is to keep you as informed as possible so you can prepare for the transition into summer.
