INTERNAL ANNOUNCEMENT OF STIPEND POSITIONS for 2026-2027 School Year

The Wolcott Board of Education is now accepting internal applications for the stipend positions listed below.

Important Reminder: Stipend positions are NOT automatically renewed. Current holders MUST reapply each school year if they wish to continue the stipend.


High School Location Stipends:
Wolcott High School Department Heads/Team Leaders (092 required for Department Head)
- 3 or fewer teachers supervised - $2,578
- 4 or 7 inclusive teachers supervised - $3,031
- 8 or more teachers supervised - $3,487

-Career and Tech Education
-Math
-Social Studies
-English/Language Arts
-Science
District Stipends:
-K-12 English Language Arts Coordinator
-K-12 Mathematics Coordinator
-K-12 Science Coordinator
-K-12 Social Studies Coordinator
-K-12 Fine Arts Coordinator
-K-12 Physical Education/Wellness Coordinator

Qualifications:

-Demonstrated proficiency in the content knowledge of the area.
-Candidates possessing a 092 certification preferred.
-Demonstrated proficiency using an extensive repertoire for content area instruction.
-Demonstrated ability to work with adults.
-Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences.
