One of Wolcott High School’s advisory groups put up a big stocking and posters around the school, asking if anyone would like to write a letter to the troops for the holidays. I received approximately 23 letters in the stocking. They have been mailed off and hopefully will make some of our soldiers happy! Ellie, Special Ed Department.
The Wolcott High School Senior class collected and donated almost $200 to give to the needy family over the holidays. Great Job

On December 2nd, forty-seven (47) members of Wolcott High’s DECA Chapter attended the 2011 DECA Leadership Conference. Only one other Connecticut high school chapter had more of its members in attendance. All students attended three workshops that proved to be both mentally and physically engaging. The presentations centered on a variety of topics including professional conduct, collaboration, self-esteem and body language.
While at the conference, which was held at the Aqua Turf, each Connecticut chapter was challenged to raise $500 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
