Juniors and Seniors participated in an assembly that hosted John Westhaver from JMM Speaking. His purpose as both a

burn survivor and public speaker is to inspire audiences to think about the simple choices they make in their everyday lives,

and to weigh the consequences of those choices. John's main presentation focused on addressing driving issues with teens.

The following is from his website http://jmmspeaking.com

  Mission Statement

My passion is to use my life experience to help youth deal with challenging choices that can be harmful to themselves and others. I will do this by telling my story and what I went through

because of the catastrophic car crash I was in and give them the tools and encouragement they need to make the right choice when faced with difficult choices so that they never experience

the trauma and grief myself, my family and friends had to deal with because of this catastrophic car crash.
