Important College Updates

 

DUALS ADMISSIONS INFOROMATION:

Dual Admissions with Naugatuck Valley Community College

NVCC offers this with the 4 state colleges and UCONN

A separate application to the school of their choice(additional $50 application fee must be completed).  The application must be turned in before the student earns 15 credits for the state colleges and before the students earns 16 credits for UCONN. 

Credits that will transfer it depends on the school.  Students interested in Dual admissions should  contact Ms. Medrano-Maura, Counseling Director at NVCC (203) 596-8608.  The students in this program are assigned an advisor and there are 2 nights during the year that the students come specifically to meet with their advisor. 

 

News from UCONN: In a recent communication with the admissions office at UCONN, we have been informed that students can no longer submit student copies of SAT scores from collegeboard.com. The students MUST submit their SAT scores through the collegeboard website!
